May 22 - 8th Grade Awards Night 5:30 - 7:30 pm (Students receiving awards were given letters to take home and a copy was mailed home.)

May 24th - Yearbook Distribution (7th period)

May 24 - 8th Grade Dance 6:00 pm—8:00 pm—The dance is in the gym. Wear appropriate shoes. Kids traditionally wear tennis shoes. No high heels are allowed on the gym floor. Traditionally, this dance is on the dressier end (may include dresses, but no strapless tops/dresses and may include collared shirts and ties.  No shorts are allowed at the 8th-grade dance.) *Last day to purchase dance tickets ($7) is on May 23rd. May 28th - 7th Grade Field Day (Activities on Campus) - Regular School Day Schedule

May 28th - 8th Grade Field Trip to Knott’s Berry Farm - Students arrive at school at 7 am.  Breakfast is available at the cafeteria.  Line up for buses at 7:15 am.  Buses depart Gage at 7:45 am. - lunch provided.  Outside food, including water, is not allowed in the park.  Knott’s also has other food options available for students to purchase.  Knott’s Berry Farm uses a cashless system to pay for items.  Students swipe or tap their credit card, debit card, or smart device with Apple Pay or Google Pay where you would normally use cash.  Don’t have a card…..NO Problem….there are cash-to-card kiosks for kids to use.  Buses depart Knott’s Berry Farm at 2:00 pm to return to Gage MS.  *Depending on traffic, students should arrive back at Gage MS between 3:30 and 4:00.

May 30th - Regular School Day:  Last Day for 7th Graders and Promotion Practice for 8th Graders

May 31st—8th Grade Promotion: Please notify the office at 951-788-7350 ASAP (by April 24th) if translation services (ASL) are needed. Spanish translation will be available on-site.

8:00 am - Parents may enter campus for promotion

8:05 am - Students report to their promotion rooms

8:45 am - Processional starts

9:00 am - Everyone is Seated and Promotion Ceremony begins.
